Team building activities have grown in popularity over the past decade. With greater emphasis on having a strong sales culture and cohesive sales teams, it’s a strategy used by many sales recruiters and managers today.

Is your sales team on the same page? Are they feeling the pressure? Are they feeling a little burned out? There is no doubt that sales can be stressful, and it can also cause your team to fracture and fall out of sync. There is a need to break up the monotony and pressure of closing deals and dealing with customers.

How do sales managers ensure their team is engaged and in sync? Team building activities. They are great ways to get your sales team to get to know each other better and work better together.

Epic Team Building Activities for Your Sales Team

Here are just a few team building exercises to try with your sales team:

1. How well do you know the office:

Break the team into groups. Each group should come up with questions about how well they know the office. For example, who sits closest to the elevator, or what colour is the wall in the lunchroom? The team who can answer the most questions wins.

 2. Let’s do lunch:

Choose a restaurant, and randomly divide the sales team into groups. Have them go to lunch with each other. It’s a great way to get team members talking. Naturally, the company will pick up the tab.

3. Escape room:

Escape rooms have become very popular. Divide your group into teams. One by one, they will enter the escape room. The team with the quickest time wins. It’s a great way to get people to work together and think outside of the box. Plus, you get out of the office for the afternoon.

4. Inventor:

Divide your team into groups. Give each group a random assortment of items. Their task is to create a product with the items and then present it to the team and convince others to buy it using a sales pitch.
