  • Faster Turnaround Times
  • Targeted Results

We recently helped a company hire a great senior sales person and they gave us another reason why they had success using a sales recruiter over their experience with job boards: Strategic Partnership

This company had been looking for a new sales rep for 6 months with no success using job boards. They received a lot of applications, but no one that matched the criteria and background they were looking for. When we first met with them, we asked detailed questions about the role, the company and the compensation. Once we understood what they were looking for, we researched the market and the type of sales people who would be suitable for the role.

What we uncovered were their competitors we compensating their reps hire than our client. In addition, their competitors also had additional benefit packages and car allowances which made them more attractive as an employer. These are things that companies often overlook but are incredibly important when you are looking to land a great sales person, not just an average one. Great sales people want to know they are being paid the most money in the market and will choose to work at companies that understand this. We emphasize the word great…average sales people will take a job. Great sales people want a career and likely won’t post their resume on a job board.

Over the next few weeks, we worked with our client to improve their job description and total compensation package to be more in line with the market. This made the sales job more attractive to potential candidates and they ended up landing a great sales person who is already ahead of plan.

The VP of Sales called us to thank us for being more than just sales recruiters and the company now looks at us as a strategic partner. We consider our job not to just find you sales people, sales managers and sales executives, but to help your company grow revenue. That is something you can’t get from a job board.
