Key Account ManagerVaughan

Our client is a private family owner Canadian company in the CPG industry and is looking for a Key Account Manager, based out of the GTA.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate annual cost and merchandising programs with Category Managers and Procurement and prepare merchandising programs to be executed at company’s different banners.
  • Maintain accurate sale forecast and spend tracking
  • Analyze and interpret POS data to gain total understanding of retailer’s business trends and develop actionable strategies to grow the business.
  • P&L ownership of categories, understand trade and drive cost efficiencies while achieving volume targets.
  • Achieve team metrics on volume, Net Sales, and Margin contribution for category portfolio. 

Qualifications & Core Competencies:

  • A university degree in Business Administration or relevant experience
  • A results-oriented Consumer Packaged Goods Sales Professional
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management and strong business analysis skills. WM, LCL experience is an asset
  • Effective Communication and business acumen.  A relationship builder.
  • Computer Software Skills – Word, Excel, Power Point etc.

Director of SalesWindsor

Our client in a Canadian based food company and is looking for a Director of Sales.  In this role you will lead and oversee the retail sales teams within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share across all sectors.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to your teams to drive sales performance, foster customer relationships, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives and priorities.
  • Forecast and Budgeting targets, management and reporting duties
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and adaptation within each sector.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ yrs in the CPG industry with people management experience
  • Post Secondary Education preferably is sales or marketing or equivalent senior level experience
  • Results driven with excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Analytically and strategically strong with excellent communication skills
  • Understands and knows the retailers and retail landscape in Canada
