Software Sales Executive (GTA/Eastern Canada)

Our client, is an industry leader in Records & Information Management is searching for a strategic Software Sales Account Executive that is driven and passionate about creating new relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts in Eastern Canada with major Canadian Corporations, Financial Institutions, Healthcare Organizations, and all levels of Government for one of the most respected records management solution providers in North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed software sales targets in a customer-focused, solutions based selling environment
  • Develop and execute a business plan to achieve corporate sales strategies & targets
  • Use a consultative approach to fully understand the clients’ business issues and develop solutions that solve their records & information management challenges
  • Identify, plan & execute new business development activities that are centered around ideal client profiles, market conditions & trends to increase software sales
  • Provide sales leadership & coaching within the sales organization to drive software sales as part of an overall records & information management solution
  • Manage both the prospecting effort and the entire sales process including solution development, customer demos (on-line and in person), post-sale customer relationship
  • Qualify complex sales involving multiple stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders & engage resources (regional sales managers, direct sales team, software support specialist) throughout the sales process
  • Use CRM, to grow and maintain pipeline activity

Mandatory Skills:

  • 3+ years B2B software sales experience that is results oriented
  • Tenacious business developer with exceptional customer relationships
  • Ability to manage sales forecast and pipeline effectively
  • Strong written, communication and presentation skills
  • High level of professionalism, work ethic and self-motivation
  • Takes initiative, works independently and is entrepreneurial
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities
  • Solid technology skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Degree preferred
