Our client is expanding their sales team in the CPG industry and is looking for a National Account Manager – Walmart , based out of the GTA (Hybrid model)
 
Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate annual cost and merchandising programs with Category Managers and prepare promotional programs to be executed at company’s different banners.
  • Analyze and interpret Internal Sales, ACNielsen reports and/or customer POS data (Retail Link) to gain total understanding of retailer’s business trends and develop actionable strategies to grow the business.
  • P&L ownership of categories, understand trade and drive cost efficiencies while achieving volume targets.
  • Achieve annual business plans and build the customer relationship

Qualifications & Core Competencies:

  • A university degree in Business Administration or similar
  • A results-oriented Consumer Packaged Goods Sales Professional
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing Walmart Canada
  • Effective Communication and business acumen.  A relationship builder.
  • Computer Software Skills – Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
