Our client is a well established Canadian company in the food industry and they are looking for a Director of Operations Finance to join their organization.  This is an exciting role reporting to the CFO in a organization in growth mode.
 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the operational financial reporting for the organization
• Own the financial planning and FP&A process 
• Provide financial modeling and recommendations on opportunities & investments
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial planning, and analysis.
• Work collaboratively with Operations and Supply Chain on cost containment
• Lead, mentor and develop your team.  You are a great communicator

 
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred (considered a strong asset).
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in operational finance within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional leaders and drive business results..
• Proficiency in financial systems (Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel modeling skills.
