Our client is a fast growing Ad-Tech company searching for a Canadian Head of Sales to engage with senior agency and advertiser executives. Your primary responsibilities include to exceeding company revenue and profit targets. The role offers the opportunity to join an innovative company, with award winning culture and ambitious growth plans. The Head of Sales will work closely with the Managing Director to develop and execute sales strategy for the Canadian market. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITITES
•    Lead agency holding group and trade deal level discussions 
•    Manage an existing sales team and have responsibility for developing, hiring and forming sales structure
•    Support the sales team in preparation of pitch materials
•    Work closely with management/product teams to get products specified and built
•    Work closely with Marketing on sales marketing initiatives and marketing events
•    Be at the fore front of building out the company’s profile in the Canadian market
•    Work closely with Operations to ensure delivery is of the highest standard
•    Handle sales and account team escalations and client escalations as needed
•    Achieve all sales targets as determined by the company
•    Pinpoint threats and opportunities within the agency group portfolio

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
•    10+ years experience in ad-tech & enterprise sales (5+ years of these in people management)
•    8+ years online business experience in sales & marketing, preferably in online space
•    Significant experience at either advertising agencies and/or digital media sales organizations
•    Proven experience hiring and managing teams of sales and account executives

REQUIRED SKILLS
•    Proven experience in adtech sales, as well as enterprise-wide solution selling.
•    Large range of existing relationships and contacts with top-tier agencies and advertisers in Canada
•    High degree of creativity, self-motivation, and drive
•    Eagerness to work in a start-up team environment that will be rapidly changing
•    Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
•    Professional oral and written communication skills
